Tired of Remakes? Give 'The Sky Has Fallen' a Whirl

The Sky Has Fallen is an independent horror film about the apocolypse
A lot of horror fans have been expressing their displeasure with all of the Hollywood remakes in the genre lately.

That is precisely the reason we encourage our readers to branch out into the indie movie arena whenever possible. Often times there are true gems that are being overlooked because of various reasons, including finances, distribution and so on.

One film you might want to take a peek at is "The Sky Has Fallen". You can also become a part of the movie if you are so inclined. The movie's director Doug Roos is looking for people to invest a few bucks in the horror film and there are a ton of items being given away, as well as the opportunity to see your name in the credits of the film.

You can read more about those details by visiting The Sky Has Fallen KICKSTARTER page.

Hopefully the flick will raise enough cash in order to have viewings at more film festivals and in turn show it to a larger audience and obviously find a distributor.

The Sky Has Fallen is a Post-Apocalyptic Love Story and an independent feature film written, directed, and edited by Doug Roos. It stars Carey MacLaren and Laurel Kemper, and won Best Horror Feature at the 2009 Indie Gathering Film Festival, and also took home Best Feature prize at the 2009 Freak Show Horror Film Festival.
