This is going to be the world’s fastest review. If you love horror and comedy and have a pulse, then don’t waste anymore time. Go pick up TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL (exclusive video interview with Tyler Labine and Alan Tudyk).

It’s just pure fun. It’s not the comedic horror masterpiece that SHAUN OF THE DEAD is, but it’s also not an insult to you and your genre loving little heart. TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL (MoreHorror audio Review) is smart, funny, gross, warm, and more often than not, legitimately touching.

Here, director Eli Craig (MoreHorror Exclusive video interview) flips the murderous hillbilly genre inside out and puts the ol’ THREES COMPANY spin on it. People hear part of the story and over react to our heroes’ appearance. Whereas the sitcom would usually go for sexy hijinks, here it’s bloody mistake after mistake that gets you laughing. Sometimes it’s redundant, but that forgivable in a film with this much heart.

It’s not perfect, but I bet when you’re done watching it, you’re going to have the same reaction I did. You’re going to sit back and wonder why no one ever made this flick before. It may have the vibe of a HATCHET and the locale of CABIN FEVER, but it truly is its own beast.

Don’t let the simple box art fool you. This isn’t some cheapo flick lifted from Syfy. This is fun stuff, well worth the nickel and dime they’re charging for it.

"TUCKER AND DALE VS EVIL" is more than just a one note joke spread out to feature length. It’s the kind of flick you can build a whole night around. Invite some friends over, have a few beers, and guess the order of who gets killed and how.
Just give it a shot. Life’s too short to miss out on the simple pleasures like this. Pure comfort movie.
